The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) remains steadfast in its commitment to public service through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, to extend meaningful support to communities nationwide.
On April 10, 2025, Barangay Captain Felino R. Pabricio of Brgy. Buenavista, Magdalena, Laguna, personally received essential medical and mobility aids from PCSO Assistant General Manager for Charity Sector Arnel Casas. The donated items included 10 wheelchairs, 10 canes, 10 nebulizers, 10 blood pressure monitors, 10 thermal scanners, and 10 glucometers—critical tools to enhance the quality of life for individuals facing health challenges.
The official turnover ceremony took place at the PCSO Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City. This initiative is part of the PCSO’s broader mission to aid the sick, elderly, and underprivileged, especially in underserved communities.
Captain Pabricio expressed heartfelt gratitude to the PCSO for the timely support, emphasizing the substantial impact the donation will have on senior citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in their barangay. “This generous assistance will go a long way in helping our residents manage their health and mobility needs,” he noted.
Through programs like this, the PCSO reaffirms its role not just as a lottery agency, but as a pillar of compassion and public service in the country. (by Leila Valencia/ Photo by Arnold Ramos)
