PBBM declares May 12 a non-working holiday for national, local polls

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has declared May 12 a special non-working holiday to allow registered voters to participate in the national and local elections.

Under Proclamation No. 878, President Marcos emphasized the “need to declare Monday, 12 May 2025, as a special (non-working) holiday to enable the people to exercise their right to vote properly.”
